Boresch named to U.S. Senior bowling team
Lennie Boresch Jr. of Kenosha, who owns Bowlers Choice Pro Shop that is located inside Castle Lanes in Racine Wisconsin, is one of four men and four women named to the United States team for the World Bowling Senior Championships in August.
Boresch, who was inducted into the United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame in 2012 and has won three titles at the USBC Open Championships, is joined on the men’s squad by Bob Learn Jr. of Lantana, Fla., Johnny Petraglia of Jackson, N.J., and Ron Mohr of North Las Vegas, Nev.
The women’s squad is comprised of Tish Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colo., Lucy Sandelin of Tampa, Fla., Paula Vidad of Sun City, Calif., and Robin Romeo of Newhall, Calif.
The World Bowling Senior Championships, for bowlers age 50 and older, will be held Aug. 24-30 at Sam’s Town Bowling Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Medals will be up for grabs in singles, doubles, team event, Masters and all-events.
