One of my clients that uses our Merchant Coupon Program (www.mcp.bmamkt.com) is brainstorming with me on how we can embrace football games that pull customers away on Friday and Saturday nights.

An idea was to hold Tailgating events/parties around the game and mass promote the event around town on the next set of 120,000 coupons (design idea below).

How is your center countering local football events that pull customers away?

We actually have leagues that go to games together. We're in Indy and very proud of out Colts. We have a Colts ticket leage where everyone in the league gets 3 home game tickets. We just build it in to the price of the league. I love the tailgate idea. We play the games on the monitors. Maybe doing a good drink specail or something for friends who don't want to bowl would be good as well.
